National Foods announced on August 8th, 2008 an immediate, voluntary recall of its Yoplait Go-Gurt and Smackers as a result of a packaging defect. Although National Foods thinks that the risk to the consumers is extremely low, they are recalling all products as a precautionary measure anyway. That's a good decision from National Foods. The reason for the recall is that there is a potential risk of small pieces of clear plastic film separating from the outside of the tube, which may cause a choking hazard, especially for children.

If you have purchased any of the affected products as described below, you can get refunds from where you've purchased them.
